Advantages of Laser Welding


Laser Welding is used in the manufacturing process when affixing precision attachments to a prosthetic device. It is also allows delicate correction and repair of structures in all metals, replacing the need for solder to create a permanent join.   

Here are some of the benefits of laser welding:

  • Corrosion resistant welding technology without solder

  • Homogeneous structure with high mechanical strength

  • Weld is with the parent metal without the introduction of additional metals or alloys thereby eliminating any galvanic effect
